Comics website Comix Talk held a Hallowe’en contest called Fright Night. Participants were randomly given a single comic panel from another artist, which they then had to use as the first panel in a 13-panel comic strip. A panel drawn by artist Roy Boney Jr. was selected for me, and from it I created a sprawling, grotesque, horizontally-scrolling comic, which won in my category. As my prize, I won Roy’s original artwork for the panel that he had created. I adapted the comic here to accomodate vertical scrolling.
